LUNG HEALTH

ConnectWell Community Health offers lung health programming at various locations throughout Renfrew County. The lung health program provides support for people living with suspected or diagnosed lung disease (eg. COPD, Asthma, pulmonary fibrosis).

Programming includes:

  • Assessment
  • Spirometry (breathing test)
  • Education
  • Developing a client-centered action plan
  • Follow-up care for clients with chronic lung disease (COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis)

When you are referred to the lung health program, you will be seen by a Registered Respiratory Therapist and/or Certified Respiratory Educator (CRE).

Together, they will work with you to create a plan to help you manage your symptoms.

Ask your physician if you would like to be referred to the lung health program.

Alternatively, if you would like to self-refer, you can contact ConnectWell at 613-259-2182 x 2324
